We offer three membership tiers, each designed to meet you where you are:

The Letter — $15 per month (founder rate; regular price $19 per month). Our beloved monthly membership for the unhurried reader. Delivered twice a month by USPS First Class Mail.

The Society — $144 per year (founder rate; regular price $180 per year). Our most cherished annual membership. Includes everything in The Letter, both epilogue letters, a bonus wedding photo finale mailer, and saves $36 compared to monthly. Delivered twice a month.

Across the Pond — $25 per month (founder rate; regular price $32 per month). For our readers abroad. Includes everything in The Letter, posted by international airmail at no additional charge. Delivered twice a month.

All prices are in US dollars. Founder rates are available for a limited window and are locked for the first story and the next story you purchase — they will not increase as long as your membership remains active.

Monthly memberships are billed on the same date each month — the anniversary of the day you first subscribed. For example, if you joined on the 15th, your card will be charged on the 15th of every month.

Annual memberships are billed once per year on your subscription anniversary. Your membership renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You can view your next billing date and manage your subscription at any time through your account on our website.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay where available, through our secure subscription platform, Subbly.

We do not accept checks, money orders, or cash. All payments must be made electronically through our checkout system.

Charges from The Wandering Letter Society will appear on your credit card or bank statement under the name "The Wandering Letter Society" or "Subbly — TWLS." If you are unsure about a charge, please contact us and we will be happy to help you identify it.

Sales tax is calculated and applied at checkout based on your billing address and the tax regulations of your state or country. We collect sales tax in all jurisdictions where we are legally required to do so. The applicable tax amount will be displayed clearly before you complete your purchase.

If you believe you have been charged sales tax in error, please contact us and we will review your account promptly.

If a payment fails — for example, due to an expired card, insufficient funds, or a billing address mismatch — our platform will automatically attempt to retry the charge according to its standard dunning schedule. You will receive an email notification with instructions to update your payment information.

During the retry period, your subscription remains active and your envelopes will continue to be mailed. If the payment issue is not resolved after the retry period has ended, your subscription may be paused until the balance is brought current. You can update your payment method at any time through your account.

We never charge late fees or penalties for failed payments. We simply ask that you keep your payment information up to date so your story is not interrupted.

You may cancel your membership at any time with no cancellation fees or penalties. There are no contracts and no minimum commitments.

• Monthly memberships: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again, and any envelopes already posted are yours to keep. • Annual memberships: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current annual term. You will not be charged again upon renewal, and any remaining envelopes in your term will still be mailed to you.

To cancel, log in to your account on our website and follow the cancellation steps, or contact us directly and we will process it for you with care.

The price you pay when you subscribe is the price you keep — for as long as your subscription remains active. Founder rates are locked for the first story and the second story.

If our regular pricing changes in the future, those changes will only apply to new subscribers. Existing members continue at their original rate. If you cancel and re-subscribe later, you will be subject to the current pricing at that time.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any membership tier with thirty days' written notice to affected subscribers.

Gift subscriptions are paid in full at the time of purchase. They are non-refundable once the subscription has been activated and the first installment has been mailed. The recipient will not be billed — the gift covers the entire term.
